Cost Per Action (CPA)

The cost incurred per action undertaking in marketing a site. There are many examples for this such as the cost of signing up for an email newsletter or registering at a site or voting in a site, downloading software and so on. The higher the cost per actions, the higher the revenue for the site that is offering such actions to the user.
