This is a web page submitted to search engine spiders and has information specifically meant for them and in a format which makes it easy for them to pick up information which in turn will enable the site to get optimum rankings. However, human viewers do not see this information. Such a page is also referred to as gateway pages, bridge pages, entry pages, portals or portal pages.
