This is a bad practice used to improve search engine rankings and is considered as a spam technique. The search engine is provided with a optimized page that will be quickly indexed by spider, while the users actually see some other page. Another tactic here is to replace the optimized page with another one for user as soon as it’ get indexed y the spider. Search engines pose penalties on such sites.
